Here’s what happened at last years Pandamonium…

It’s not over yet – lets take a trip to the year 3000. The legendary Freshers’ Week experience that is Pandamonium returns, this time propelling its pandas into a futuristic supernova. It’s time to put on your official t-shirt and coat yourself in panda face paint, as we set off on a journey into outerspace. All 4500 of you will find out what the future holds in The Gate, Newcastle’s premier entertainment complex. We’re turning the entire venue into one massive superclub, complete with avatar fire performers, alien stilt walkers and angle grinding cybergirls. The Gate holds 8 different bars and clubs, each of which will feature live performances and appearances from acts such as Scott Mills, Basshunter, Charlie Sloth, Alex Mytton and more!

Introducing Scott Mills from BBC Radio 1!

We’ve pulled out all the stops when it comes to the Headline act at the Gate. Not only is he a twitter sensation, he is one of the most listened to and popular radio DJ’s in the UK… Scott Mills from Radio one will be taking a break from his award winning radio show to provide the most massive hits to send your Freshers Week out with a bang!

We all remember the classics such as ‘Now You’re Gone’ and ‘All I Ever Wanted’. Now it’s your chance to see the Swedish singer/songwriter live in action! After winning a World Music Award Basshunter is now gracing Newcastle with a performance you’ll never forget, just for your Freshers’ Week!

Also On Thursday Night:

If you don’t fancy bars and clubs, how about a non-alcoholic dinner? Complete with some of our favourite mocktails, a three course dinner and in house musical performance, this will be an epic finale to your Freshers’ Week. Stick on your best dress and head down to Venue in the Students’ Union for a night of entertainment.
