So what exactly is Freshers’ Week? You might have heard stories from older siblings or friends; maybe seen some photos in a prospectus… well Freshers’ Week is a jam-packed line-up of activities and events that take place during the day and night of your first week at University. We know it can be really daunting if you’ve left home for the first time and are in a new city (or even country!) with lots of new people. So wherever you are from and however far you have travelled, Freshers’ Week is designed to help you settle into student life, discover the incredible city of Newcastle, meet lots of new people and have an unforgettable start to what is likely to be the best years of your life!
